Silvia is Professor of Economics at the University of Oxford and a Professorial Fellow at Nuffield College. Her research focuses on monetary policy, international macroeconomics, and empirical macroeconomic analysis. Before joining Oxford, she held senior research and advisory roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Bank of England. She is Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of the European Economic Association and the Journal of Applied Econometrics.
